Participants are encouraged to arrive with an idea, a draft in progress, or simply a desire to begin. The focus will be on CREATING material, discovering what interests you, and moving a project forward through discussion, feedback, and live readings.
The goal is not to leave with a perfect script, but with a stronger understanding of your work, a clearer creative process, and momentum to continue writing beyond the workshop.the full breakdown ▼The Bridge Writing Workshop is a four-week online workshop for playwrights, screenwriters, storytellers, and anyone interested in developing original work for the stage. Participants will generate new material, share pages in a supportive but rigorous environment, and receive feedback from fellow writers, actors, and guest artists working in the field.
Throughout the workshop, selected scenes and excerpts will be read aloud by actors, allowing writers to hear their work in real time and gain insight into how it functions in performance. Guest artists will join select sessions to discuss process, craft, and the realities of creating new work.
The workshop is limited in size to ensure meaningful feedback and discussion. We have worked to keep the cost accessible at $150 for the full four-week program.
Two groups will be offered:
Group A: Saturdays, July 11–August 1,
11:00 AM–1:30 PM (ET)
Group B: Sundays, July 12–August 2,
11:00 AM–1:30 PM (ET)
